Eatontown has begun it's migration over. DPW has already made the move. I don't know when the other departments (PD, FD, EMS, OEM) are planning on making the switch.
I've heard them on lowband alot today, can't get over to NJICS fast enough to see if it's multicasting. So far guys, on Oakland....
The lowband multicast has been on and off over the past few days.
Listening currently(16:00hrs) only 700 is active.
I am locked on both lowband and 700.
Not sure if there’s problems or what.
And on 700 there has been no “E” so it should be coming through on lowband unless there’s a problem
Update: 16:22 now I’m hearing E and no lowband.
Perhaps there was a change.
I’ll keep listening through the night and I’ll advise
Ok one more update. Based on the ids, 242059(E), and the others, this is dispatch console and the units running tests.
242058 is the dispatch console(clear).
At this point my assumption is testing.

Exactly, not sure we really need minute by minute updates. They keep turning it off and on to see how many times everyone posts about it. Jeez we get it already.
Back on Thursday I caught TG 4917 active with a short encrypted keyup.
The RID was 242041 which is an Oakland ID.
I don't want to submit to the DB yet because one keyup is not very much to go on...
And to be clear this is not their Ch2 the E right? From what I’ve seen, they can/do run E on the same TG as dispatch.
So a possible Tac channel?

Coffee runs probably lolI heard a unit ask another unit to switch to channel 2 a few weeks back, which resulted in the traffic on TG 4915 becoming all encrypted between the same exact two RIDs which were previously being used in the clear.
Yup, there are several potential uses, but tac is one of them.
