TG 5221, seeing a Kenilworth radio ID affiliating to it.

Kenilworth was scheduled to test this past spring. I don't know what happened with it, but I don't think they ever did. Might be related to them finally getting around to it. I know if Kenilworth PD goes they'll probably be TE.

There will be changes coming to the Caldwell area of Essex county in the near future.

Currently West Caldwell also dispatches Caldwell. That agreement was not renewed and will end at the end of this year. Caldwell is currently on VHF but has been approved for “upgrades” to their system. The rumor is that they will join NJICS and have dispatch services from North Caldwell, who also dispatches for Essex Fells.

West Caldwell has entered into an agreement with Roseland, who are presently VHF, to provide dispatch services. Roseland has also allocated money to upgrade their communication system before making this switch.

So we may yet see 2 more West Essex towns go with NJICS.
As usual stay tuned.

Is there any update on if/when Roseland will be moving to NJICS?

Anyone have any ideas on the 330xxxx RIDs? I'm seeing them coming across the Neptune site on NJ EMS Task Force Tactical (TG 3439) and unidentified TG 3459.

My notes have 330xxxx as Inspira EMS, and I have also seen them affiliate on 3461 & 3463 as well recently.
I’ve got 320xxxx as Inspira from listening to some Cape May traffic. They cover Lower Township.

Just trying to guess as to what other EMS agency may want to migrate over to NJICS. I think the only MICU programs that aren't operating in some capacity on NJICS yet are Capital Health, Virtua, Cooper, and Hunterdon.

Also picking up a bunch of 425xxxx RIDs on Neptune site. No TG logged, just unaffiliations right now.

Besides the NJ EMS TF Statewide TG, I have 330xxxx RIDs affiliating with new TGs 3459, 3461, 3463 recently. No voice traffic logged on the Neptune site however so they probably aren't an agency local to me.

I have been seeing those for a few weeks now myself. I was thinking that maybe those are from another trunk system using some of the same frequencies or something.

As to be expected, I'm seeing more NJSP talkgroups popping up. TG 2621, 2629, 2635, 2641 and 5185 specifically. 5185 seems to have only 4 digit RIDs in the 7xxx range affiliating to it

Do you happen to have there purposes? Those are not on the radio reference database yet and I'm looking to program them into my scanner, just need to know what it's for. Thanks!

While listening to the monthly EMS Task Force roll call, I logged 3300033 as the Monmouth County Coordinator, and 3300017 as the Salem County Coordinator. This of course brings up the question why they have another radio id range, I am sure in time we will figure it out.

If I could ask, what channel did you find the EMS TF roll call on?

Thanks!

So EMS Coordinators have 245xxxx, 330xxxx and those random RIDs from the old system.

I know it’s a work in progress but …. Imma bite my tongue.
