Loudoun now has a working fire at an apartment on Ft Evans Rd. Initially they thought they had burnt food in one apartment and were going to hold with just the engine and truck (first fire for the new tiller), then they found fire in an adjacent apartment.

They have found fire in a bathroom wall.

1704- RIT response being dispatched. Fire has extended into the attic.

Leesburg's heavy rescue (R620) and support unit (TRSU620) are heading to Mad Hatter Rd in Jefferson Co for a building collapse. This area is where a storm with tornado potential has passed through.


Jefferson Co also responding for wires down on New Harmony Ln.

2238- A Jefferson unit at the collapse seen just reported a tree coming down and taking out power lines which have landed on R620.

Homicide shooting in Ashburn - around 18:30. LCSO and LCFRS dispatched for a shooting called in by an off-duty deputy and several other citizens. Male was shot in the chest and CPR was terminated after 15-20 minutes on scene. A male suspect was taken into custody near the scene and confessed immediately. The weapon has been located and secured. EMS also dispatched for a hysterical witness. Sounds like the victim was shot in an apartment near Windsor Lock Sq and Old Ryan Rd, went outside, and collapsed. CSI and Homicide-Robbery detectives still investigating.

8:41 - FCPD currently searching for a subject who left a hospital with several IVs in his arm. He told staff he would come back and left several hours ago. Unclear why he was allowed to leave...

Went back and listened to audio from the Alex City PD OIS last night. Officers dispatched for a suicide threat at 2246 hours for an adult male threatening to shoot himself with a pistol. Several officers responded and arrived on scene at 2253. At 2259 officers requested the channel be held and stated they had located the subject and he had a rifle to his head. More units were requested. At 2302 units request Hostage Negotiation Team personnel. At 2305 units requested a medic to stage and all other radio traffic was switched to the backup channel. EMS was dispatched at 2307. At 2321 units reported shots fired, 22 minutes after locating the subject. Units asked for EMS to be brought towards the location but advised the scene was not yet safe for them. They asked for EMS to be brought in at 232253. At 223433 units advised that medics had still not arrived. At 2327 EMS arrived 6 minutes after being asked to come in (supposedly they had already been staging on scene) and advised they had one with GSW. Subject was pronounced DOA.

VSP is pursuing a vehicle with some sort of connection to a kidnapping. They have continued across the WW bridge into Maryland. Helos have been requested to assist.

0904- Has crashed at the bottom of exit 7A, Branch Avenue. Hit two vehicles prior to that and a 3rd when it was in VA.
0910- There is a baby in it with possibly life-threatening injuries, seems unconscious. Fairfax1 might be used to medevac.
Light breathing, bleeding from ears.

Driver is wanted subject Danaa Demetrius Plummer.

0918- Trooper2 enroute for medevac. Fairfax1 requested to take photos of the scene, they are currently being held up by ATC while trying to get across the river.

Total of three pediatric patients and one adult.

AMBER ALERT: 3 children abducted from Virginia Beach home, police say

Virginia State Police issued an AMBER ALERT for three children they said were abducted from their Virginia Beach home.

That's it. Rescue estimated the older kids at 5 and 10 years old. Wasn't sounding good for the infant, partially ejected is what was reported.

The youngest, the baby was confirmed 10-61, deceased by Dr. Joseph Shapiro at 10:15am. The baby was transported by Trooper II to Children's Hospital in DC. The mom is on her way up from VA Beach, and getting expedited by VSP.

Death investigation in Sterling on the W&OD Trail. Runner found a body near the trail. No word on cause of death but WJLA has a crew at the scene and there’s a heavy presence including detectives and a captain so perhaps a homicide.

8:17 in Ashburn - LCSO and LCFRS responded to scene in sector 370 for a male covered in blood on the ground and not moving. Units found the subject with deep stab wounds to both arms and applied TQs. Unclear whether they were self-inflicted and no word on condition of the patient.

13:15 in Reston - Shooting in a Gold’s Gym. Victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Huge amount of resources on scene still looking for the suspect.

Update on the Reston homicide. They had a wide perimeter but had no luck. Victim is a male, no other details. Sounded like a huge response for this - unusual call signs heard include Gang Unit, SWAT, Academy 3, and OSB 1. K9, helo, motors, CID, MCB, station 5 commanders all also on scene.

For FCPD it’s just the district dispatch channels. They’re the only ones in the clear.

FCPD Station 8 on scene of some kind of bomb threat in the area of Innovation Drive. Appears to be a large scene. A unified command is being established and EOD is en route. Sounds like a suspicious package has been located.

Update - sounds like there are two separate scenes. Unclear if they are related. Both have now requested drone units.

Separately, FCFRD on scene of a major gas leak at a construction site on Columbia Pile in Falls Church with a full HAZMAT deployment. They have evacuate the area and are awaiting WASH Gas.
