Not to bring up an old subject, but after reading the DMR Function V2.20 manual, and the following threads, I have a few specific questions:

If I am understanding it correctly, operation is similar to other manufacturers, except it roams using the information in the channel-zone list, not from a roam list noted elsewhere.
1) There was mention of roaming and checking CC. Do all repeaters have to have identical CC? Is it a problem if they do not?
2) What is the best way to deal with properly assigning TG to slot? I'm assuming it's different than the typical 1 zone per repeater, and strap each TG to a channel. Do I put each repeater in twice, for S1 & S2, then the roaming only looks at the selected slot's channels? I'd be ok with this if I can put Group ID search on and go into the contacts to make my group call.
3) I am assuming the roaming doesn't also sort by strapped talkgroup? I can't put Repeater 1 TG 1-5 in channel 1-5 and Repeater 2 TG 1-5 in channel 6-10?
The other threads were helpful in tweaking the roaming settings. I just need to get a complete understanding before I blow forward. I currently have the large codeplug as zone-channel not personality list. I'm trying to get this squared away on the portable before I load it into the mobile where changes are a bit more effort.

NX-5800 DMR Site Roaming

Being very used to motorola, the kenwood roaming parameters are different. Although looking at the help files and seing what it says there I am struggling to understand the differenece between standard site roaming threshold and site roaming resume. I fully understand the concept of quick site...
