I've been working on a couple new NXDN systems here and have noticed something on both the x36hp and SDS 100 while programming. When I program the system as a One Frequency NXDN and add the TGID 0, both scanners seem to miss alot of transmissions. When it's programmed as Conventional NXDN, transmissions are received as normal. The simple answer would be just to program it as a NXDN Conventional however Alias ID's are not shown if they're programmed by the system administrator and if I'm trying to identify an unknown system, the Alias ID's can be very helpful. I don't believe I'm missing any programming steps...have it set up as s 4 second hold on the NXDN One frequency method to make sure the scanner is sampling the system long enough. TGID also has a 4 second hold and ran it in both ID Search and ID Scan without any differences. Does the scanner "ignore" TGID's of 0? Anyone experience this besides me?
