You have to find the Channel IDs not LCN...

It’s a statewide system here in Florida and it’s commercial so it is real busy.

May be this one, Joe

That's a multi-county system in Florida, though his profile shows VA as location, not Florida.

Well, that would explain why it doesn't work well from several hundred miles away. :D

But seriously, that is a trunked NXDN system so LCN Finder should work. There are several sites that are single-frequency sites. Not sure about those, of course.

Really, without specific info we can guess all day long and not solve the problem. (IF that is even the correct system...)

Yep

LCN Finder worked well on my two public safety NXDN systems here in the DFW Metro area.

This has likely come up in the past with other systems as well. It'd be nice if it could tell us what the other frequencies are though within a system when only the control channel is known when figuring systems out. Perhaps another firmware update is needed for something like that.

That won’t work, the NXDN and DMR systems do not give actual frequency data, there is no standard channel plan in use

To do that, it would have to search the entire band, and in the case of some newer systems multiple bands.

Really, come to think of it, DISCOVERY.

Hi.
I´m from Chile SA, and i will like to buy NXDN key for mu BCD 436 scanner, but Uniden site does not accept upgrade from foring countries. This is the same problem i faced long time ago when i upgraded from another company that obligate me to pay more than Uniden price.

Any ideas on how or where i can upgrade my scanner to allos me access to NXDN mode?
My MasterCard issued by an Australian bank wasn't accepted, but a Debit MasterCard issued by the same bank will work.

However when entering your name and address etc. on the card payment page, follow the information in the last paragraph here re billing state and zip code in post #7:

Using LCN on a small 4800 5 freq system,, Dumb question but this system is sparsely used and so do you need actual radio traffic for the LCN search to work?
So far have no traffic yet.

Yes, radio traffic is required. If there is too little (or too much) traffic, it can take a very long time to determine LCNs.

Ok started LCN search and so far got 3 of 6 LCN on early short search.
Where do I find my results? Backed out and started all over again.
