Those are the two that cause me issues as well. It seems to occur more frequently on the Comtronics system. During the Marathon, the All-Comm Capacity Plus system had a few false talkgroups.
436 encryption while recording/scanning
Is there going to be a fix for the conventional recording of Fed comm freqs where the encrypted comms will be skipped like in the previous software version? I had 162 comms with about 10% unencrypted comms yesterday; but had to see all the muted encrypted comms pass by while doing the playback. It's definitely frustrating when we were used to just having the 436 record the unencrypted comms in the previous version.

Yes. It seems they have moved the threshold range so that the new 7 is the old 5 and the new 5 is old 3, that wasn't selectable. I had to change all threshold values for DMR two notches up or it will false decode like crazy. The P25 seems to be untouched as I have to set that at 5 to get any kind of decode. Makes it kind of difficult doing searches of digital channels.

It would be nice if muting encryption was an option that a user could set on a per system basis. Some folks (I for one) would like to be able to at least log TG's & RID's when researching a system for the purpose of determining & submitting to RR. If everything is encrypted then there is no research that can be performed. Effectively turning a $500 tool into a paper weight is BS Uniden.

The ability to log is very useful for many of us who wish to do so. I log, so I am all for not muting. Make it a user option..

Did anyone see there card says 60 dollars pending ? for the NXDN Key update ? that is 30 dollars?
I just checked MY NXDN went through at $30.00 and MY DMR went through at $60.00 yesterday morning.
Mine also went through at $30, last night (and $60 for DMR)

I got another 3 nxdn upgraded the other day
And the first 2 were about $27 or so and the 3rd was $30
I remember something about a discount because of the cc snafu a couple months ago
I had purchased 2 nxdn upgraded as soon as they were released
And did 2 more dmr upgrades last night for $60

It was only $30 during the period when Uniden did not have a Sentinel version out that would support NXDN - that period has expired. So, as stated, it is $60 like the others.

Weirdly, if you are also in Vernon NJ it appears to have gone through not at $30 (or $60) but $44.99. I forwarded to our IT group to have this reviewed and fixed. The price is still $30. NXDN will probably show up in the master database on Monday, but I'm going to let it continue at $30 for a bit to ensure that the export/import worked correctly.
