I have updated some general information regarding Troops F, K, T, NYC and L. Also i am continuing to update and reorganize some of the pages.

I have a question regarding Troop NYC. Do they follow the same zones listings as the rest of the state as KC2zZe points out above (Post 11)? I have not seen any State Police cars in any of the 5 burrows of NYC lately. So i am still trying to figure out how this works.

Here are some updated links so that all the links are in one place:

K203 is the CITE car not sure if you wanted to add that to the wiki. I've seen this unit frequently in the Wappingers area. There are at least two CVEU vans at the Lagrance barracks, I'll try and get some unit numbers

Yes i will go ahead and add them. I'm assuming this will be 2K203 or will it be the local PD, 7K203.

CITE and CVEU vehicles are Troop wide. They should just be the letter and the unit number. Nothing in front of the letter

Also per pictures on 10-75.net:

F14 is an unmarked pickup truck
F17,F77 are pickup trucks
F84 is a Dive Team van
F70 is the dive team trailer
F71 is a boat

From my own knowledge
7F5## units are Kiryas Joel public safety
7F65 is the NYS Bridge Authority command center
5F## are BCI Sr. Investigators
5F### are BCI Investigators

I did not initially know what this meant but i figured it out and i added it to the wiki.

I don't see anything on the troop l page. Did you add content to the page?

This was just a simple mistake and is fixed i just forgot to save my work. lol

Added thanks. I find this website very helpful. It helped me identify a few Troopers.

I have also updated the troop A wiki page and will work on B next.

Why is the Troop NYC page blank?

It was not originally there. I had to create it recently and don’t really have any information regarding Troop NYC.

I also had to add Troop T for the Thruway and L for long Island and don’t have any info regarding them either.

Troop K, zone 1: New Lebanon barracks has 1K40 & 1K41 unless something changed very recently.

Thanks and i have put this in the wiki.

I have finished updating all of the wiki pages! :) I am still for some information regarding identifiers.

For Troop M, I have only heard and I have only seen Zone 3 (3M-xx). They all call to SP Manhattan on the radio.

The state park police in NYC also use 8M-xx for their vehicles.

Yea i have found Troop Nyc to be confusing.... Idk if they have zones or its just one big troop with no zones...I have been on 10-75.Net a lot recently and it looks to me like like the Troop has zones but i can figure out witch is witch, and on the NYSP troop information website and there is no information there regarding the Zones it just lists where HQ is on Wards Island. I have took the information you had said above and imported it into the wiki page.

I have finished updating all of the wiki pages! :)

I have finished with organizing all the Troop Pages. Everything Should be Consistent and organized. And the only thing i am looking for is still the identifier information and i will update the wikis. I hope you all enjoy the new layout of the NYSP Pages. If you want i can create a page on my wiki profile to show how i formatted the wiki pages and we can triple check to see if all the pages mach.

At the bottom of the Pages where i give myself credit i think i will change that to "Page organized by nickthequick0 and information from NF2G.com and members of the community"

Happy New Year!

I have a few questions regarding NYSP. I was in the city this past week (nowhere near time square, lol) and i saw a few NYSP troopers doing traffic stops on some of the highways , i saw a Troop L car doing a traffic stop on the belt in Brooklyn. Then the next day i saw a Troop K car doing a stop on the Jackie Robinson. Then the same day i saw a Troop L car In front of LGA. Can anyone explain this?

I also am looking for some help on Troop L, T & NYC as those are the least completed and i would like to update and get at least some info up there. Any help is appreciated and thanks again in advance.

Troop NYC Zone 1 and 2 are investigators, operating unmarked vehicles now. There were some vehicles marked M### but I believe they are being or have been phased out. Troop M personnel are assigned to a variety of units including (aside from uniform patrol)
NYDETF (Drug Enforcement Task Force)
NYOCDSF-NY Organized Crime Drug Strike Force
FBI Major Theft Squad
Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s Unit (SNP):
Federal Criminal Squad
Confidential Investigation Squad
Criminal Investigation Unit
DA Squads
Manhattan Squad , SIU Labor Racketeering Unit
Brooklyn Criminal Squad
Bronx Squad (Bronx and Staten Island)
Queens Criminal Squad
Troop NYC VFW Squad: (914) 742-6403
Attorney General Unit
Joint Terrorist Task Force (JTTF):
Kennedy Airport Theft Network (KAT-NET)
Narcotics Enforcement Unit:
Zone 3 appears to be the uniformed personnel assigned to NYC
Also Executive Services Detail (ESD) personnel operate in NYC frequently.
If anyone has more detail, it would be appreciated.
