Also, some fire department doesn’t use their “MSWN" fire TAC channel. They use the 700 simplex National Interoperability frequency. The reason why they use it due to, Out of range, doesn’t have their neighbors county TG program in, and a signal loss inside of a build.

So the 700 Simplex frequency name are:
7FIRE63
7FIRE63D
7FIRE64
7FIRE64D
7FIRE83
7FIRE83D
7FIRE84
7FIRE84D

I just had some traffic come across the Fountainbleu site with a talkgroup of 12351 It was real brief.

Anyone have any ideas who this is?

EDIT: I just heard this traffic on it as I was typing this post.
13 Hattiesburg Driver 1 is going to be Butler.
I'm going to be 10-24 (indescribable) is going to have that vehicle.

Edit#2: More traffic, now I'm hearing J-21 as a callsign, asking for case# and time. So it sounds like MHP?

Now I'm catching traffic which sounds like the same Hattiesburg dispatch on 12355

In reference to TGID 12351 question above, I feel fairly certain now that I'm monitoring MHP Troop J Dispatch in Hattiesburg. I'm hearing several J units conversing with Hattiesburg, and being dispatched to a multiple vehicle 10-50 with a body laying in the roadway in Lamar County.

Edit: traffic from J-48, to get R-17 enroute 10-79, and need another 10-51 in rotation.

Could be a patch. SDR software would show them and make identification easier. The most common patches I see are:

Multiple dispatch channels patched
A dispatch channel with a tac channel

Without SDR, its hard to make sense of it. It's nice to physically watch the dispatcher activate and deactivate patches in real time, thus explaining everything heard (usually).

Just a little update from listening today. Last night I mentioned hearing someone say 'Biloxi' on unknown TGID 12355, well now more traffic and it certainly is MHP District 8 Troop K Dispatch and units. I'm hearing the same traffic on TGID 12031 at the same time.

I've been hearing a lot of Troop J traffic on the unknown TGID 12351 all day, but not hearing anything from their published dispatch TGID into the Fountainbleu site.

Yeah, when you invest in a SDR system, it change your whole scanner hobby. Right now I am live to Jackson site (Hinds County) from Sunflower County, they have a lot of damn traffic. MBI and Medcom did a lot patching

I spent a few hours at Camp Shelby again today. These are from the FGH site:

31085- Hattiesburg unknown. Picking up dead animals off the roads in several locations. Previously seen but not identified on 09/15.
31095- Hub City Transit ops in Hattiesburg, confirmed by their morning safety message to all drivers.
34071- Entirely encrypted; suspected Jones County LE.
34074- Entirely encrypted; suspected Jones County LE.

And, if I were to use my Airspy for that, what would it tell me that Pro96Com doesn't?
It’s more better then Pro96Com. it got NXDN, P25, DMR and ProVoice. With the P25 system it will tell you if the TG is FDMA or TDMA. You can find the site more easy, you can tell when a tower is in site trunking mode. Also you can tell who switch from channel to channel
