I heard traffic on TG 44790 I believe it might be Canton PD but I’m not 100% sure yet. It was coming from the Lake Cavalier tower. Still looking for Canton FD Flora PD and FD. Maybe Madison County Road Dept they might keep the VHF not sure. I’m positive canton and flora have gone MSWIN as the NXDN channels are no longer active. Just trying to locate the talk groups.

I believe that I found an LEO Dispatch channel on TG 44770 they were running an ID card. It's in the Madison Co TG range

I believe 44790 is Flora PD. They were on a call on Kearney Park Rd. which runs thru Flora. I have not heard a 44770 though.

I didn’t get a whole lot of traffic off of that TG, but it is definitely law enforcement. Maybe someone wandered into range of the Jackson site for a bit.

Left Unitrunker on ETV Raymond most of last weekend. I still have a lot of sorting to do (that is one busy site). But I don't see any of the previous TG's logged. Will investigate.

ID's that are not in the db include:

13407 - No grants, 1 join by UID 114802
13622 - No grants, 1 join by UID 410120 (which has 30-50 grants on JSU PD TG 13620)
22950 - Numerous grants by UID's 206117, 206137, 206123, 206119. Those four id's did not join/talk on any other TGID while I was logging
42609 - No grants, 1 join by UID 1339628

Didn't get a chance to record these. I'll try to next time.

JSU PD has Dispatch, Tactical, Car to Car, CID, Events/Stadium, Wide Area/Roaming Tactical, Student Security/Escort Details, Parking/Traffic Enforcement, and Admin. Also access to Hinds County TG's, and JPD TG's for interop, as well as the other interop TG's.

All TG's that are Wide Area/Roaming, are statewide use, which for the college/university PD's is what they should be using for like Football/other sporting events when they travel with the teams. For out of state, they will go to the conventional 7/8 Tacs, or be given cache radios from other places for temp use. For the "State Universities" (MSU, UM, USM) they get MHP details. Or at least did the last time I checked. (Which of course are Encrypted now except on the 7/8 Tacs)

I have heard another new one. It is 62021. Does anybody know who it is? It appears to be a utility right of way clearing crew.

Just a heads up to everyone that didn’t know Pearl PDs dispatch is now encrypted not just their car to car.

I do also want to point out a couple known TG’s that have not been listed yet for Hinds/Rankin Counties,

1. Hinds CC PD Rankin Campus (Pearl)
2.MDOC OPS have seen 7/800MHz mobile antennas.
3. UMMC Hospital Maintenance (I spotted Motorola 7/800MHz antennas on a UMC Ford F250 as well as a Ford F550 service truck) so I’m assuming they have a maintenance channel? I know the VHF isn’t active much anymore.
4. Rankin special Transportation (for people with disabilities for rides to appointments) they have a TG on the old Analog Rankin system and they have a MSWIN TG I know but have yet to been identified.

Lastly, the Rankin County Road TG I’m not sure if it’s accurate considering it falls so close between Rankin SO TG’s.

F.Y.I - Rankin County Jail uses their old MTS2000s and MTX8250s on conventional analog 800mhz frequencies for jail comms.
Also MSANG Fire uses the P25 VHF as well as their MSWIN TG on the MSWIN page. MSANG security and Base EOC is strictly P25 VHF for on base comms I’m not sure if they have a repeater. I know security forces is encrypted but Base EOC is clear. I can here the mobiles about 10 miles away with the portables you really have to be kind of close. I know the security forces and base EOC are using XTS2500s model 2 and 3 portables and XTL 2500/5000 mobiles.

I saw a blip this morning on the Airspy that I'd previously been ignoring, so I went to find it. Turned out to be 1-98, which doesn't exist in the DB here. A little looking and it is listed as 2-98, the SOW in Sarah. Currently parked across the street from USM Gulf Coast PD office.

It was only allowing affiliations from Marine Patrol, USM and the Capitol PD TGs. MHP and MDOT kept getting denied as well as a Hancock SO radio.

UMC Facilities is still on VHF. I'm not sure what F250 you saw, but I'm pretty sure the F550 you saw is one the belongs to UMC but fall under the SMRS(State Medical Response System).

Picked up TG 47905 last night on the Lake Site in Scott County, while doing an ID search on MSWIN. It was definitely a law enforcement TG and falls in the Smith Count range. Anyone else in the area able to listen and see if we can figure it out?

Can anyone please clarify if there is still any FDMA (Phase 1) activity going on in Rankin or Madison Counties on any TG’s? I know Hinds county is fully TDMA. Also Rankin County Sheriffs TG’s are all encrypted obviously, but why is dispatch 2 labeled as clear? When it’s encrypted. Thanks.
