The only "left click" would have to be in lower part of a Trunking System if the term "wildcard" is used.

If this is the case, beejay needs to use right click in talkgroup section for the TSYS then select Wildcard in Talkgroup Properties dialog. Recheck which scanlist to assign because default is list 01. Use the same for Private Wildcard but use the pulldown to change from Talkgroup to Private.

PSRCtrl500 Error 126

I need some help. Had recently gotten a new laptop (Windows 7) and had loaded PSREdit500 and PSRCtrl500 without any issues. Release is 1.89Release2. Then, my laptop had and issue and it was replaced with a like model.

PSREdit runs without an issue, but when I try to run PSRCtrl500 I receive the following error message:

Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version File "FTD2XX.DLL", error 126

Can anyone assist in what is happening why the application is giving me this error message. I have checked the Edit application and it is working without any issues.

You need a newer driver for your USB cable. The newest one is available from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM20600.exe and that should resolve the issue, although that is a bug I need to look into.

Thanks, after I upgraded the driver, the problem was resolved. Though it is amazing that the laptop that got replaced was exactly the same model and had no problems with the orginal drivers. Again, thanks

Yeah, aren't computers wonderful? I've learned over the years that computers that are supposed to be identical usually aren't. There's always some difference in them.

In PSREdit500, are you using Direct mode or COM Port mode?

i recently downloaded psredit500 for a second pc and now i have upgraded my monitor to a 32 in tv
my problem now is when i use psredit control the display is larger and covers some of the buttons
is there a solution to this problem other than maybe setting the display to another setting because granted a tv dosent have the resolution of a smaller pc monitor

First restore down PSREdit then hover mouse over any side or any corner of PSREdit you should get a <--> scroll bar. Size to your needs. Then insure all three blocks are checked in Configuration menu>Display Options. I just now checked on a 47" TV screen.

maybe a misunderstanding here this is with psredit control the scanner face is covered by the scanner display itself

ive messed with the resolution settings in xp the only thing i can stand to look at is 1360 by 768 pixels
on this cheap 32 in tv so i really dont want to have to change them settings

I'm guessing you're using a DPI setting other than 96pixels per inch? That will cause what you are describing...

yep that was it it was at 120 i put it back at 96 and rebooted
its hell getting old and loosing your eyesite reason for the big monitors here
but i think ill have to go back to 120 dpi anyhow thanks for helping out and the quick response

I've been meaning to redo that program, but haven't been able to free up enough time to do it...

Am I missing instruction that walk me through getting to know how to use PSREdit500? Specifically for a Pro-106

The help file has some information on that. As far as PSREdit500 is concerned, there's no difference between the PSR-500 and the PRO-106.

What version of Windows are you running?

Try deleting the PSREdit500.ini file from the folder where the program is located, then run PSREdit500, and make sure it communicates with the scanner, and then try PSRCtrl500 again. Let me know if that works.

did as you suggested deleted a file named as type configuration settings being i could not find 1 with the extension .ini worked in psredit500 i was able to download the from the scanner but psrcontrol is still a no go
it will not detect the scanner
