Anybody notice OKWIN sites with different NACs now?
Now Walters is 92A (was 920) and Velma is 92B (was 928).
I can't decode any other sites today.
I don't know when the change occured.

I would think they wouldnt change. If I remember correctly the security keys for some radios have the NAC's in them and if a NAC changes those radios no longer can access the system. Did you notice this on a scanner or software?

Is it best to keep the setting for the SDS100 under “Site NAC Operation” to:

Use Site NAC or Ignore Site NAC?

Thanks

I would say set it to ignore unless you verified the NACs yourself on the sites near you that you use and you actually need the NAC to prevent reception of unwanted distant sites. You can't count on the db having the correct NAC.
Then don't be surprised if the NAC changes again and you stop receiving one or more sites.

Arbuckle Mtn., Ardmore, and Thackerville have all changed NAC from 92E to 92B.
I haven't been able to copy any other sites north or east of those recently.

This morning I found that sites 1-42 Mangum and 1-44 Weatherford changed to NAC 929.
I don't know when it happened and this was the first time I was able to receive Weatherford direct.
I don't know if any other sites changed again.
