59824 on the Columbus site. It was something at a university from what I could tell, and "ATI" was mentioned, which is an OSU facility in Wooster.

52096 - unfortunately I didn't get anything that would help determine who it was (I'm guessing something in Muskingum County based on the talkgroup number)

Create a wildcard talkgroup in the TSYS that has your local MARCS towers.

*Note* it's likely you'll pickup non local traffic if any non local agency has been in your area and thus associated as the wildcard will pickup any TG that transmits.

Thanks Patrick for your response. I went to a wildcard for some towers close and got a lot of hits. I backed down to one local tower and have been watching and recording on win500. In the Monitor/Control section I checked the two boxes which suspose to create a TGRP by "leading tag characters" either by from wildcard hits or by "RadioIDs" ARID: ???. I am unsure what to put in those two boxes and what to do at this point. Marcs is coming in on Feb. 17th and program some raidio's into maybe another talk group so the SO and OSP can communicate with each other. On Feb. 18 they will start installing the PD cruisers and setting up a TGRP or TGRP's. Would like to be able to set my scanner up. Thanks DICK

I wouldn't worry to much about Radio ID at this point. What they are are the ID's of the specific radios transmitting on a TGRP. You can then setup custom TAGS to ID specific "radios" Such as the Radio associated with a dispatcher or a Specific Fire unit.

Right now your looking for "unknown" TGRPs. You can cross reference what your seeing in the the RR MARCS Database to see if it's already there.

It appears Noble County SO may have went to MARCS. I have been listening to 56080 for a few days and believe this is who it is by the dispatch and the area locations. Anyone else verify this by chance?

Mark and Rick, I too copied traffic on 11312. It was definitely a utility company, when I first heard the traffic they were in the Piqua area talking about switching out circuits. Then I copied further traffic about them setting a pole in the Hegaman's area of Lake Loramie. I have No clue as to which company it would be however.

Heard some brief traffic on this again today. After doing some further research,
I believe this to be Pioneer Rural Electric Co-op which is based in Piqua, thus calling their base "Piqua"
and not the OSP Post 55 Piqua I was assuming earlier. They cover an area from Miami County, Shelby County,
Champaign County and a very small area of Clark, Madison and Union.

Try to catch this talkgroup a little more before I add it to the database.

Here is an article about some utility coops on/switching to MARCS:

Country Living Online

Those mentioned were:

Code:
	Buckeye Power
	Butler Rural Electric
53840	Carroll Electric
	Consolidated Electric
11312	Pioneer Rural Electric
	Guernsey-Muskingum Electric
	Midwest Electric
	+ two or three others

Mentioned by sopranosno1:

Code:
11376	Logan co-Op

So look for some others coming online in the future, if not already on the system but unidentified.

I have created a "Local Electric Cooperatives" category to MARCS and added them to the database.

State of Ohio MARCS - Multi-Agency Radio Communications Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

Thanks Mark. I think that looks a lot better having them under their own category. Easier to find!

Anyone have an id for 28272 from the Beachwood tower in Cuyahoga County. Traffic sounds like a youth correctional facility. References to gym, Bible study, library, door lock and unlock, etc..
