Hello, I have a BC396T and have just programed in a Motorola P25 for the City of Apopka and it is working fine. I am trying to program a Ericsson Edacs System for Volusia County ( Way out of range but I am going to visiting the coast soon) and am hung up on the prompt by the scanner to "enter a LCN #" after I enter a freq.I am using the web-site from East Central Florida Scanner (http://home.cfl.rr.com/scanner/vcso.htm). On the system page it shows: System A, System B, Daytona Beach and Public Safety Mutual Aid. I was going to program in the Frequency #s for all 4 systems but am quite confused. My questions are (1). is this the way to program it and where are the LCN #s? There are Channel #s to the left of each freq #(Such as A01 for system A and B01 fir system B) but I am not sure if these are the LCN #s. If they are how do I to get the 396t to in put a letter in the LCN prompt? Hope I explained this problem of mine well enough for some help. Thanks, CFD Capt. (retired).

Each EDACS site will need to be in separate scanning systems, because each have LCN's 1 through 5 demanding the same location. Site 1 and 2 also share LCN 1 - 14.

Cool deal. It should have the Trunk Freqs in there you can change the quick key if you like. I have mine setup different. I like the options in the radio also.
