I have been and will continue to listen but i have one questions, Some of the talk groups he has posted have been only on the air for a grand total of 6 sec and he know exactly what talk group it was. So either he is a very good guesser and he has the list of the the talk groups already.. All i am asking is if he has a list post it for the rest of us, that's all. Why play games. If people are monitoring like myself I know what groups and how long the id's are transmitted for but until its used and have people talking on it other then saying test 1,2,3 you have know way of knowing what the groups is being used for. Just saying. How is he suppossed to post the talkgroups for a system that hasen't been accepted yet. Most of the talkgroups are only on paper right now. Tune in and see if you can help contribute.
If you want to be technical it's all of them not some of them... Time to move on... Have a good night..Do you have a recording feature on your equipment ? Because if you did, you would realize that some of the talkgroups were ID’d right over the air.

Thanks to a very generous contributor who wishes to remain anonymous, we'll have some additional talkgroups added to the database shortly.
There hasn't been much activity, and the talkgroups that have been active are already identified, so no worries.Sorry I have been a bit lax with monitoring the system myself. Gonna throw in some wildcard TG’s in this weekend see what I can cofirm/add.

That's how 95% of all FCC licences are done...you say it's built out before you loose it no matter if it is or not, the FCC knows this..there would be no way to do all the leg work for a system not knowing the frequency range you will be using and no way to do a large system in a year. It's one of those rules everyone knows isn't followedThis is Cronomer and was taken in July. Note the date of the build out on the FCC filing was May.

Faulty logic. You apply for the licenses after you know the frequency range you'll be using, that's a no-brainer. As far as "no way to do a large system in a year", that's exactly what §90.629 Extended implementation period exists for. It allows for up to 5 years to construct a system, and often the FCC grants requests for extensions even above and beyond that 5 year period if justified. The FCC does not take frequencies away willy nilly, it's almost entirely the fault of the licensee when frequencies are lost, and therefore there is no reason not to follow the rules. I can personally attest to that as someone who has written up and filed requests for extensions to licenses. That's how 95% of all FCC licences are done...you say it's built out before you loose it no matter if it is or not, the FCC knows this..there would be no way to do all the leg work for a system not knowing the frequency range you will be using and no way to do a large system in a year. Sounds like a software issue with Butel. The system looks fine in the RRDB, as well as in Sentinel and when importing with ProScan.Trying to download the newly listed Countywide Fire and Countywide EMS Talkgroups to program my radio and am having no success. They are appearing in ARC 536 as Department 1 with no talkgroups or info.
Is there a problem?
Too early to say for certain, but since there are SP mobiles and portables being programmed and coming online daily, my hunch is that they would eventually like to use this system for Zone 2 operations and get away from VHF, similar to SP Haverstraw on Rockland's system. For the NYSP talkgroups are they moving communications solely to this system or will they be simulcast of the VHF system like how it is done in Maryland counties
