Thank you. I plan on making the same changes to the P25RX.Todd,
will this be available to the p25rx users also? This is great and just can't wait for the NXDN and DMR trunk tracking is available. Great work

Thanks Todd,Thank you. I plan on making the same changes to the P25RX.
I will get this thread going again with a couple of feature requests.
1. On the Alias tab for the radio IDs can you add an "Export CSV" function.
2. On the same Alias tab, when you discover a new Radio ID and put it at the bottom of the list, can you add a column for the talk group that you saw the new RID on? Adding the talk group makes it easier to identify the radio ID.
Thanks!
I will throw in a request as well. On the Search DB tab, in addition to the current "Test Selected Frequencies" button, perhaps next to that you can add a "Test All Frequencies" button. Just makes it a bit easier to accomplish when you get a lot of hits from the database in a place like NYC.
Does your vehicle have a WiFi hotspot?when driving all the audio pauses have me constantly fiddling to reconnect
I'm guessing that Bluetooth was disabled on the firmware update. Bluetooth does add some extra warmth to the device. This is normal. My RX-II took in a firmware update today upon. The unit was getting hot and seems to be running much cooler now.
The P25RX-II does send a periodic (very low volume) signal over Bluetooth with the intent of keeping Bluetooth sink devices (speakers, headphones) from going into a sleep mode.My RX-II does fine with BT headphones but when driving all the audio pauses have me constantly fiddling to reconnect. Would I get better connectivity if instead of stream pause it just push keep sending something at low volume?

What model of headphones do you have?

Please check PM.I just checked and Bluetooth is on and still shows enabled on startup. I am on BT headphones now and it currently running much cooler than before.

I'm still working on getting the new features released for the P25RX-II. After it is released, my plan is to start working on a version of the application that contains the firmware for both models. Hoping to have a P25RX-II release possibly this week or weekend. These are going to be big changes in order to support the new modulations and scanning. I'm sure not everyone will be happy with the added complexity. I may still need to maintain two or more versions (advanced and easier-to-use versions). Even though there is added complexity, I'm shooting for making the latest version more intuitive. We'll see how it goes.Todd,
Anything further on porting the P25RX-II features over to the original P25RX model?

Hopefully you are just busy with other things, and everything is going good in MO!...
In full disclosure, I've been away from my radios lately and not had the time to use them 24x7 like I normally do.
...
Yes, that is the case and all is well here!Hopefully you are just busy with other things, and everything is going good in MO!
