I just came home from some errands and noticed the Allegheny simulcast is offline and failed/isolated status. Before it dropped I saw in the event log where the Kittanning (ARMS32) site went offline too but came back up up about 5 minutes later. Being Sunday I don't imagine they are working on anything so it's curious what is going on. There is no signal at all from 61, and I verified it's offline by looking at the neighbor list on 21. Looking further back in the log, 21 was down for about 5 miutes too, about a half hour before 22, followed by 61 a half hour-ish after that.

Edit: Looks like Derry (WEST30) is offline, failed/isolated as well according to Scenery Hill. I thought the spectrum looked a little sparse around 161.

Those are, I think, currently being broadcast everywhere - most likely for testing. I expect they will be limited post-testing.

For sites going off/on, actually Sunday is the perfect day to reconfigure, as it's the slowest day for PSP. There may be users who no longer have OS radios in their cars.

Westmoreland is currently down (no CC transmitting). Indiana-South is up. So is Butler-South and Armstrong.

FCC application requesting 159.21 be removed and replaced with 159.3375 on Site 1-006 CRAW01 / Townville :

- ULS Application - Public Safety Pool, Trunked - 0008144270 - PENNSYLVANIA, COMMONWEALTH OF - Transaction Log

Not approved yet. If approved, who knows when that might be reflected on the site. But the site's current CC has always been 159.21. So if you suddenly lose the CC on the Townville site, look for it possibly on 159.3375.

Mike

Townville has switched control to 159.090

Thank you.

I think Garland in the DB needs changes to 1-001, and I think the Warren simulcast in the DB needs changed to 60. I wonder if Hearts Content is still separate or if it has been melded into the simulcast now.

I have noticed that each of the sites I use the Pro96Com on, shows a 800 freq in the log.
Is this something to do with this being an inter-mixed system that HM1529 has explained in the past?

I'm not a P96C user, but I think something is goofy with your setup. The info you posted for Hearts Content had the same 800 freq in it that you posted for Garland. I've never seen a control channel advertise a frequency on a different band than the CC was on. Neighbors with different bands yes, but not site frequencies. Also the info you posted for Garland and Hearts Content were missing freqs already verfied for those sites, and the HC site had two freqs shown as all zeroes. Something is amiss and I'd reccomend switching to DSD+. It's the one platform I've not seen any errors from at all.

I am not aware of any multi-band systems that use different frequency bands at the same tower site. That definitely seems odd to me, too. I have not seen that same issue on Pro96Com with other systems, nor have I seen it on the Ellendale site for STARNET.

So, are we deciding that the site currently listed as the Warren simulcast (1-01) is actually a stand alone (call it Kinzua Dam, 1-03?) and that Hearts Content is part of the simulcast (change from 1-02 to 1-60)? It appears that Garland is really 1-01 from the other post.

So I think we have it all straight now...everyone agree? Yes it was wrong for half of today until I finally wrapped my head around it heh.

I monitor 2-3 sites simultaneously with DSD+ and seperate SDR sticks. I haven't seen any talkgroup that has been active on all sites at once. I think either the radio techs have been using some of the PSP TGs or there are more barracks with radios configured and already testing than expected.

Same here. TG 10122 I've seen on virtually (if not literally) every site.

Hearing Tg 12015 today. Radio Techs doing radio checks. They were talking to a Ligonier Base and Ligonier 214 will be out os service untill 1400 tomorrow. Not sure if this is Fort Ligonier or Laurel Mountain State Park. This was on Allegheny Region Simulcast.

I'm seeing what appears to be control channel activity on 460.16250, NAC 170. Is that possibly the Franklin County South Mountain site firing up?

NAC170 is most likely WVIRP/SIRN.

STAR*NET is NACs in the 94x range. But you should be seeing something there soon.
