Got a buddy who’s a member of a McCracken County first responder agency and specializes in radio comms. He confirmed the system should be up and running by December. He also said there would be encryption, but he’s not sure if it’ll be full or partial.

Scannerboy is on the other side of Lexington Ky and is like a child on a trip in a car asking are we there yet.
District 1 is up and running now in testing just waiting on all the radios to be provisioned. Scannerboy will think your comment about December will be statewide.

Still can’t figure out the agency on TG 18. KSP post 1 is doing the dispatching. Unit numbers are in the 500’s. If I hear enough addresses, I’ll figure it out.

All jokes aside it’s sad that everything is going encrypted.I remember back in the late 80’s and 90’s and 2000’s my dad and grandma had a scanner I got my first scanner when I was 10 before we moved to Florida and then got the pro96 2003 everything down there in Florida is encrypted now it started with the states pro voice edacs system in 2005 pretty soon
There will be no scanner
