The step size wouldn't have mattered. Being off 6.25 kHz would not have given proper decode and would not have appeared centered on the scope. Auto-tune would have bumped it anyways. But even after deleting the whole system in DSDPlus.P25data and going down to 6.25, It looks like the same results:

Using my SDS100 with 700 MHz set to 6.25 spacing. I am seeing the same thing as you.

The Site 2 freqs were updated, but need clarification. 700Mhz channels are spaced at 6.25k - so updates are requested. (for instance, 770.5125 could be 770.51875 or 770.50625) - that was not realized until after the import and change was made.

Also request that someone over there check all the sites on the Pinellas system and send an update so that the RR dB can be checked and edited if necessary to remove inactive control channels.
My SDS100 will only lock onto the control channel if I’m set to 770.51250. If I go 6.25 in either direction, the control channel will not lock. The rest of the frequencies I submitted were verified by monitoring the system and letting the control channel do its work. I can 100% confirm what I submitted.

I also submitted the changes I could confirm for site 10. The changes were applied successfully, but the admin who made them forgot to remove the new site 10 frequencies from Site 5. For example 851.5875 is listed on Site 5 but is now the control channel for site 10.

Needs to be removed from site 5.
851.08750
851.58750 (New CC for Site 10)
851.85000
852.36250
852.83750
853.03750

Thanks to CanesFan95 I was able to hear and confirm an additional couple of frequencies and have submitted it to the database to be added. One of them needed to be removed from site 5 so I placed it in the list above. The newly confirmed frequencies at least for me are.

852.36250
852.60000

here are the active control channels as I type this.

Site 2 770.51250
Site 4 857.93750
Site 5 856.96250
Site 8 853.62500
Site 10 851.58750
Site 12 769.10625

Hope this helps and thank you for all that you do.

I am unaware of any other 700MHz site that uses 12.5kHz channels, but site 002 is apparently licensed that way:

from the FCC:

Narrowband Segment (769-775/799-805 MHz)

The Narrowband segment consists of 1920 6.25 kHz-wide channels operating as 960 pairs. Subject to compliance with spectrum usage efficiency requirements, licensees may combine two to four contiguous narrowband channels (6.25 kHz) to form 12.5 kHz and 25 kHz bandwidth channels. These channels are allocated into seven distinct groups and are governed by rules which are codified at 47 C.F.R. Part 90, Subpart R.

I am no expert on licensing or coordinating LE trunking frequencies, but reading the above text would indicate that the 17K7D7W emission type on the license linked above would require 2 contiguous frequencies to form a wideband channel (2 freqs for 12.5k bandwidth and 4 freqs for 25k bandwidth)

I am not convinced by the monitoring data that Site 002 is operating in accordance with FCC guidelines or the license that seems to support the site.

I am diving a little bit into the current/active licenses for Pinellas County (>700Mhz).

Links are provided.

A few things of note:

These 4 frequencies were all licensed in 2024 for CONVENTIONAL operation:

854.4125 WNNR382
853.4875 WNPP493
853.4875 WNQY654
854.6375 WNRM970

KNJH386 doesn't seem to cover any of the current sites.

WPJR956 seems to cover most of Site 5 and 8.

WPWU779 seems to cover Site 10

WPWX247 and WPWX249 are conventional licenses on 851.0125 and 853.0125.

WQFQ771 seems to cover Site 10

WQQA282 covers site 12

WQQA285 discussed in prior thread (Site 002)

WQQK627 seems to cover site 5 and 10

WQQK628 seems to cover site 5 and 10

WQRD434 seems to cover site 5

WQVC915 has two freqs, 857.5375 (unknown use) and 858.5875 (used on Site 10)

WRYH340 is a 700MHz license that doesn't seem to be on the air.

Nothing in the basic search that I performed covered site 004.

YMMV. It's just a hobby.

just a side note here (that is probably obvious to most) -- but worth repeating. the most critical attribute in the RR dB for these systems are the control channels. if those are wrong/incorrect or not listed, a vast majority of people who use this site and software for programming (e.g., Sentinel) will not hear the system correctly. I would really appreciate a submission that contains DSD+ text dumps of all the sites for the Pinellas system.

I added 859.9625 to the dB for a control channel on site 10. Are there any other control channels for site 10?

I can only get a weaker signal with some bleedover from other stuff, so those are the only 2 I've found. I know how important it is to have all CCs in the database. Years ago, I used to submit a fair amount of stuff to the RRDB, but stopped doing so for certain reasons/situations with these forums.
