You need to remember, you must scan all the possible choices, statewide events channels may change from day to day, units may switch back to normal systems as capacity is repaired or outside units released back to their agencies, for example Bravo 1 was doing welfare checks this morning, but were also telling units to test a TG on their own system to see if they could switch. There is never a basic set of TGs or even systems to monitor, it takes a lot of searching listening and patience.
Foxtrot 4 has also been heard this morning, you just can't pinpoint any one TG, you just need to scan them all, all 80 of them.

What channels are they using for the Asheville hurricane disaster on Viper? I think I’m hearing some on statewide channel. I’m not sure please let me know.

NC HART is very busy. If you are lucky enough to be near a Viper site that has affiliated traffic, you will hear quite a bit about rescues and evacuations right now. NC Hart had a big training event near me in Salisbury last July 17/18 which I heard on radio. Sounds like they were prepaired for this one.
You can follow rescue aircraft on FlightRadar24 app. I observed Joe Gibbs Racing helo near Boone today. Sounds like many are pitching in. If you are close to the action, monitor 123.025. Heard NC Hart talking to NC aircraft about South Carolina aircraft coming to Lake Lure, and since they dont have Viper to look for them on 123.025.
And of course the Statewide calling channel and Events channels are busy. Hearing a lot on Echo 2.

EBO, CBO and WBO are active as well. Lots of emergency managers from different counties are staging to go to the western part of the state today. RRT teams are also sending some personnel.

Give a try, but the Viper site you can receive will need to have units affiliated with the channels that are in use. You can probably get the Statewide Calling Channel.
I am in Rowan county and there are a lot of assests going in and out from here, especially SHP and National Guard aircraft. I am hearing NC HART channels constantly as well as the Statewide calling channel and Events channel Echo 2. Other channels are coming and going.

I am not near Gaston County to receive it, so I have no idea what traffic is affiliated with it. All VIPER sites do not carry all traffic, they only carry traffic if they are needed to when a unit affiliates with a site and uses a channel that will be repeated by that site.
Gaston is simulcast with 7 sites carrying the same transmissions. If you have an SDS100 or 200, an SDR dongle or Unication pager you can monitor it without simulcast distortion. But anything else will likely be garbled with distortion.
Depending on exactly where you are you can try adjacent sites to Gaston county. Maybe one closer to Newton could be carrying more traffic since the SHP dispatch center is there. If you can receive them, maybe the Lincoln or Anderson Mountain sites.
On the chance you do not have all talkgroups in your programming, try using ID search instead of ID scan. Using ID search, if a tallgroup is not programmed into your system you will only see the talkgroup ID number and not the name of thr TG.
