Pro-164 or GRE psr 300 Volume/Squelch Pot

Hello,
My pro-164 has a broken volume pot. It's shaft is completely broken off.
I want to replace it with the Volume/Squelch/on-off ganged pot from a GRE PSR-300.
Although it looks identical does anyone know for sure if it's the same in both scanners.

You can order the direct replacement part through your local Radio Shack. Tell them you want to order a part from RSU parts.
