Pro-2051 Edacs help

Ok so first off need to program the freqs in. Ref database shows 1 2 3 and so on. Im assuming they have to be entered in this exact way in the scanner. Secondly The talk groups? Im a bit confused. Do I enter in the DEC of AFS? Also Im currently using the AFS and the scanner wont let me enter some of them in, it says error? The one its doing this on is for the TG i want to monitor.

EDACS frequencies need to be entered starting in channel one, just follow the order the data base shows. As for the Talk Group ID I always use DEC and have had no trouble.

It has been a long time since I entered anything in my 2051, I use it for mobile. I believe page 60 in your manual explains on how to program TG ID and believe #4 step is what you are looking for (AFS on/off).
