Pro 433 Closed Scanning Question

Does anyone with (or without) a Pro-433 know how to scan in closed mode? The manual has been no help as of yet and I'm starting to get very aggitated. I know from reading on here before that you can't enter text for ID's with the 433 but now I'm starting to believe that you can't even closed scan. This thing has been giving me trouble since day one. If anyone could help me out I would be very grateful.

This is from the Owners Manual,
8. (Optional) To turn a bank on or off, press and hold the SCAN/
MANUAL button during trunk scanning. When the trunked bank
appears, press the bank number (0–9).

He has the answer he found it was given quite a bit earlier. It's not turning banks on or off it's turning the radio between ID Scan and ID Search is just a matter of holding the Trunk button as the radio scans.
