I got a pro96 and where i live just switched to apco25, I have no idea how to program in TALKGROUPS??? Any help?

and that is where, precisely? Go up to the blue toolbar under the site title and float your mouse over Database. Follow the various pulldowns. If your system is new, it might not be in there yet, but it's worth checking.

What system are you programming? Reason for asking is if it's a multitable VHF/UHF P25 system, you will need software. Win96 is my preference but ARC96 is also available.

You may also need software if it's an 800 rebanded system.

Edit: If system is StarCom21 we need to know which towers (sites) you will be using.

yes starcom21 the sites i'll be using is this 1 IF that's what you mean. It's in Bloomington/normal illinois. Starcom started yesterday here

Bloomongton is yet to be in data base, but not long ago, I think Don Starr indicated the Pro-96/2096 does not require rebanding tables for P25 trunling systems. Thus programm all 800MHz control freqs and Alt control freqs.

This scanner can't trunktrack system if the new tower uses 700MHz freqs.

my scanner needs reformatted and i dont know how. Anyone here know anyone or anyplace the will reformat frequencies?
