I have a BCD396T version 3.02.02 and have access to the RadioReference database. I'm using ARC396 version 3.2.004 to program the scanner. It's been a few years since I've programmed the radio and am having problems getting it to program correctly.
I go into ARC396 and click on internet--radioreference. Then I go through the various drop down menus and import the information. I've assigned a quick key to each system then upload erasing all systems with the new upload.
I don't hear anything on any of the channels. I have Sacramento's trunked system too and would think I would hear something with them.
For the Roseville trunked system I clicked on Reband in ARC396 since it has been rebanded, but that doesn't seem to help.
Also, when I manually go into the database I see quite a few more frequencies listed than what is download automatically through ARC396. I've manually input those freqs into the system, but still nothing.
I know I must be doing something wrong. As far as I know my radio should work with a rebanded system.
Any suggestions?
Randy
