I just opened up ProScan and was prompted to download the new version (12.9) which included NXDN support. Uploaded my 536HP and there it is...all my NXDN programming. Sentinel not far behind?

Doesn't even detect my scanner via usb to usb. Didn't want to do the wifi route. ARC and Sentinel have always been plug and play no problem. Just thought I'd try ProScan from what I've been reading in this thread until the others are NXDN updated. Manual states you can use the software via scanner front usb to computer usb.

Has anyone ever had ProScan work on 536 via front usb to computer usb? Have never been able to get this software to work with x36 scanners.

I've never had any trouble getting the USB port to work for programming or data communication. For remote access, monitoring, and logging, Wi-Fi is the best. You have to use USB to update programming though.

Are there any detailed instructions or videos on importing from RRDB in ProScan? Can't find anything on the internet or clear details in the manual to do this procedure. The manual states that ProScan can import from RRDB but does not give details on how. Makes a great virtual on computer and can project as many scanners as computer can handle.

In the Favorites Editor (NOT the Window with the virtual Scanner)

Select File and look down at the 7th option (import RR web Subscription required).

You may have to select File>New first to populate a blank database before importing.

make sure you remember to save.

I've got the 30 day trial version. When I click on Import Radio Reference Web I get "A Database File Must Be Open". Then it says Click On Database Menu and Click New Or Open. What does this mean? I do not get the Radio Reference Window.
