PSR500/PSR600: PSR-500 using an Icom cable

I just picked up a PSR-500 and am able to write to the scanner from Butel ARC500 using my Icom OPC-478UC no problem. Reading the scanner back into the software shows the progress on the radio display but nothing loads on the software. Win500 and PSRedit show a timeout error . I’m not opposed to getting the correct GRE cable but hoping there is a minor adjustment I can do to use the Icom . Thanks

Try going to the Scanner tab in ARC500 and clicking on Install USB driver.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it was a hardware situation or the Icom driver is overriding the driver that installed with the ARC500 demo.
