Unfortunate, but not surprising. Never send adapters, batteries, or any accessory in with any repair. If it's not permanently attached it does not go with it. That goes for any device general being shipped for repair.

Only send the Radio.

In addition to the above, as inexpensive as SD cards are, it would be easier on your frustrations to simply get a new one.

Odd they sent my SD card back with the scanner, data was gone but the card was there.
