Hi all,

I did this stuff for my Icom-705, when I've found that the internal recorder can make only 8000 kHz sample rate WAV files, that is absolutely not enough for many digital signals, and even for AM-stations. I am interested in SWL and signals analyse, and it was a bit of disappointment. So I created software for the Raspberry Pi, that I can plug with a transceiver and use "in the field". Both sound and frequency are automatically synchronised, and as the output, we get IF files, that can be played in HDSDR or any similar software.

How it looks:

Recording can be controlled via TFT or in headless mode, via the smartphone.

Some recordings from IC-705 and a balcony antenna AOR SA7000:

In theory, app should work with IC-705 (tested), IC-7300 and IC-9700 (not tested), and maybe other transceivers, that support USB audio output.

This is bandwidth, we can get, and it's much better than 8000 KHz sample rate WAV, provided by internal recorder:

More info about install process I'll add later.

You are right, the IF recorder is a much nicer recording.
