I see that there is computer control available via the USB port but I'm wondering if it's possible to get the received data over USB? I heard rumors that this could be done with the HP-1 with a firmware upgrade but not sure if that can be done with the SDS-100 yet.

I'm still getting familiar with this scanner and so far I'm liking it!

If you are asking about the control channel data output, like you can get on the HP-1 or HP-2, using the Extreme Upgrade, then no, you can't get that on the SDS series scanners, nor on the 436HP/536HP units.

You do have that option, still, on the 325P2 and 996P2, I would like to see that option added for the x36HP or SDS series scanners, but it is not a current option.
