Hi all, I bought a pro 96 digital scanner and was wondering if the Regina channels are all encrypted or if there is some that are not? I have not received my scanner just yet but I am curious.

They operate a P25 Motorola digital system . Fire is P25 Digital while police are encrypted. Sorry no luck in monitoring the PD.

Welcome to the forum. When you program the City of Regina Motorola ASTRO II system into your Pro96, you will be able to hear all services except police. The RPS is using DES encryption in all their comms, except when they are using their backup TG's (which is never). All other services including Fire and EMS are analog.

Just go buy the program man! I can tell you no one is going to oblige you in your request. Someone worked very hard to make Win96, and is probably a member of this site. Don't disrespect software developers, but support them by buying it.

I agree, sign up with Pay Pal and use it to get your key from Don's site and you will have it the same day. If you have dowloaded it you have 30 day trial period to use it and program your scanner, unless you downloaded it earlier and the trial has run out.
