Rockaway Townsquare Mall Frecuencies are WRONG!

I have been listening to activity on 464.975 Mhz. In the database, the frequency is listed as Rockaway Mall Security. It's security, but not in the Rockaway Mall. It's the Livingston Mall Security. What should I do? Let RR know? What??

What actual frequencies don't you know? You just listed the frequency in your post. It could be possible that both malls use the same frequency with a different PL/DPL. Per bergenscanner.com, the PL for Livingston Mall is 110.9. There's no listing there for Rockaway Mall. Just submit the info you have and don't worry about Rockaway Mall.

Rockaway Mall is 464.975 PL 97.4. Both Malls are owned by Simon Property Management Company.

But I hear them say that they need to call LPD all the time. Which is Livingston Police Department. Also, why is it that when their is a medical call or fire call, I don't hear security talking? But I shouldn't be to cionfused about this anyways. There are better things to listen too!

Matthew. we're trying to tell you that both malls use the same frequency with different PL tones. You're only hearing Livingston Mall because you may not be close enough to Rockaway Mall to hear them. You do know what PL tones are and how they affect what you do and do not hear, don't you?

I'll check with my wife.If she ain't at the Rockaway Mall at least 3X a week they call her on the Mall isued Radio to see if she's OK

Maybe Maintenance. I used to work at Livingston Mall doing security [insert joke here] when I was going to CCM 1993-94 and security and maintenance were on the same channel. Maybe now they added a frequency for maintenance. That would make sense.
