The sort and filter capabilities (a really nice feature) appear to be missing from FCC licenses.

FWIW, forum post Preview is kind of sluggish for at least the last hour (after 2022-03-26 2300Z). I don't know if this is related.

Well...I'll keep it short. I am all for change. But this does not feel like productive change. The layout feels more like a back office program rather than a customer facing website. I believe the average user will have a difficult time navigating the site. It also feels very cramped and just doesn't seem to flow well between pages. Just my two cents. Thanks!

From a quick look at this, 5 minutes literally..

I see 1/5 of the overall information when on a county home with the new version, compared to the old/current version, when using my phone. All of the large buttons give an old VB appearance.

What does an "old VB appearance" mean? Visual Basic? VBulletin?

I believe the home page database trends and statistics is wasted space. I agree the map of the US would be a much better choice.

Using the little search box in that page is confusing or doesn't work. If I want to find Hartford CT Fire Department, I can't simply type in "Hartford Fire Department" as that returns no results (nor does Hartford FD, Hartford CT FD, Hartford CT, etc). I need to know search for the name "Hartford" only, then click the County then look through the list. I even tried the exact listing for Channel Description "HartfordFire" and that didn't work.
It is a waste of effort to click the + beyond the county as all the conventional subcatagories simply link to the top of the County results. I still need to find the listing that I tried to search for. If I click on a trunk system it only brings me to the top of the page with a lot of information to sort through. I then would need to know what group of TGIDs to look in OR click "All groups" then sort by Alpha Tag (and hope it isn't abbreviated too much) OR use CTRL-F and have Windows try to find it.
A Frequency Query limits the filter to Tones. A small drop down menu with CSQ, PL, DPL, NAC, DCC, and RAN options opening to perhaps "All" or individual options would be a big improvement over DB 1.x
A new database should have improved on the searching beyond repackaging the look of it.

All good feedback so far, Thanks folks.

I can't guarantee that we're going to accommodate everyone's wishes and requests, but I am listening.

We definitely have some work to do on the search component to make it properly useful for more use cases. I've got some ideas and updates coming for that shortly.

Rolled a lot of small fixes today, updates to search, sorts for sites, margin problems with links, etc.

Still looking to implement search handling when someone decides to search for "Boston, MA" as an example vis just Boston.

Filter Sites - Filter Sites by County is acting strange.

I selected 1 county and clicked Set Filter. The filter doesn't seem to apply correctly in the Sites and Frequencies table and a large whitespace is created.

Closing the green alert box results in the large whitespace remaining.

macOS 12.3 / Safari

The filter works perfectly in the Talkgroups table.

All fixed now.

I also resolved the site sort issues you brought up earlier in the thread.

So I think I got all the weird margins, header, overlap issues done for you.
