I'm glad that I was able to help you.Kudos Rabbit, I've had a sdr for years and never got it to work. I started reading this thread and had some time, I dug it out of the junk box and followed your post and boom it works. Thank you very much.
I wonder if jvradenburg ever came back to read this thread?anyone having trouble with a rtl-sdr software? I've downloaded sdr++ and sdr# from airspy and neither one works
That's a good idea; I'll have to try it. I have 2 old Windows 7 laptops. One with W7 32-bit OS, and one with 64-bit OS, but the 32-bit has a failed HD.Just my own two cent, for what its worth, if you are using Windows 7 32-bit, you may need to use an older Zadig driver installer. I had to use the zadig_xp-2.2.exe installer listed under other versions to get it to work correctly in my Windows 7 32-bit VM. And before any questions/criticism over choice of OS rolls in, its just for compiling software (DSD-FME) against the least common denominator of choice, and being able to test it properly.
It's not so much me not knowing how to use the software if the software's lack of ability of working I can't get nothing to download and work right as coming up with either a kernal 32 error code or an error code stating that this dll is missing or that dll is missing regardless of what website I download the software from it's almost like the software that's out there is corrupt
Is that true? I don't know anything about HDSDR for P25.computer is the only way for sdr,yes i run zadig its the only way to get the hdsdr to work but it wont run p25 digital hence why i need sdr sharp to work
