Ok I have a hopefully simple question, I live Near UB North Campus (cooke hall tower) and I want to only monitor UBPD, would it be safe to assume I can get away with only programming the cooke hall site into my scanner and get away with hearing 99% of the communication. I currently monitor 3-4 sites and feel like that is not needed?
in a nut shell YES.. they are constantly on that site and Site 1 Seneca tower

I'd say so. It's the most likely tower some units would affiliate with regularly. Like you said 99% of the communications, you realize that you might miss something on some blue moon day, which is key! The only way to almost guarantee hearing everything is to have a radio that belongs to that system.

Site 16 in Rochester has another channel pair that is not in the DB. I wasn't able to track down the frequency while I was there on Friday. The site is using "channel" 19/20 (10 in RRDB form) in addition to the ones already listed.

I will watch it today. Is this the Con+ or the TIII system?

LCN 3 just came active so the only change is to add LCN 10 if I can find the frequency. They may be working on the site since 2 and 3 were quiet for a long time with traffic rotating on the upper channels. Then 2 and 3 came up and the upper channels were quiet for a while and now back to normal all channel rotation.

Site 16 LCN 10 LSN19/20 is 463.3875. RRDB will be updated in a few minutes.

Is there anway to find out what agencies are affiliated with what sites?
How many times do we need to tell you affiliation depends on what site a subscriber unit to an agency TG is in range of at the particular time!
Agencies are not assigned to particular sites. But, if they operate in a particular area, the closest site is a good possibility most of the time.

Question asked and answered many times and the answer is not going to change.
