Indeed it is!

Crayon and I have been debating on bringing a laptop and data slicer to show off Trunker! :)

Feel free to bring a friend as well!

OKC trunker

I think that would be a good idea - many people don't know how cool trunker/etrunker really is. Have you been running it on the new ProVoice EDACS system? I've logged 29 radios and 24 groups so far - and the "Type F" transmission that goes every minute - stuff you don't get with a regular trunk-tracker!

I haven't really had a lot of time to run Trunker on Provoice yet. But I'm wanting to get around to it sooner then later! 8)

bump.

The meeting is tomorrow. Alas, I *might* not be able to make it. I have to report to Ft. Worth tomorrow and I do not know when I will make it back.

Foster_006: I was going to bring my laptop to show trunker in operation. You have yours working correct? Can you bring that? I was also going to bring a radio with a discriminator tap to show those who have not done one yet. Could ya also bring a phillips head to open up your radio too?

I would like to get people excited about using Trunker et al, so that we can begin attacking some of these trunked systems around here!! There is a truck load of systems to monitor. I've personally done almost all of the ONG system, and it was a bear.

Anyone else that is planning on attending, bring anything of note you like to share. If I am able to make it, I will have my frequecy counter with me to show what it is capable of doing, dispelling some myths in the process. :)

I have never seen a 95 to 95 cable. Usually, to xfer config info one takes it from a 95 to a computer, then, computer to 95.

rgr. This trip was suppose to have happened on Thursday of last week, but they delayed until today as to what day they wanted to reschedule on, and it has to be tomorrow! aurgh. To make matters worse, we are suppose to attend a telecon that D.C. says everybody is required to be on. That does not start until 2:00 pm CST and who know how long it will last. *sigh*

Stevepro95,
As you may know, the programming cable is only 20 bucks or so and you can order it online.

You can make things really easy on whoever shows up to help you if you download a copy of Win95 and preload it with all of the frequencies that you want. Save that config file to a disk so that xfering into your radio will be a snap!

:)

I can bring my Pro-94 and 780, both of which I have set up for data-slicing. My slicer might not be too pretty, but it seems to work ok.

That would be cool! My laptop just died, so I wont be able to bring mine. I'll leave that up to you now!

Also, I plan on asking for a big round table close to the wall (power) and out of the way.

I don't have a laptop - just a desktop that I run everything off of. That would be a little hard to bring, so I don't think I can do that. Anyone else have a laptop with dos? a laptop at all? I can boot off of a floppy and show trunker a little. I'll bring a disk in case anyone has a laptop.
