The building and time are the same but there is a class in the room we used last time so we will be in another room. Internet will be available in the new room, if needed.

2. The ramifications of the new OKC system

What else? Just trying to get a little more orginazation, like N5MRK said, last time everyone just kinda stood around for awhile and we wasted alot of time. Also, who all is planning on being at this meeting?

just want to thank you guys
Just want to say thanks For NOT post the meeting place and time so it looks like it's a closed meeting and you have picked your members that you want to be in this club. I have asked where,when and what time sence the last meeting in January and NO one has posted the place of where the meeting would be at or time or date. So what's up with this and why? All the of posts that i have readed say is same time same place. That to me sounds like you guys do not want anyone but the people that know where the meeting is going to be to be there why?

Man that's just plain rude, If you had READ this entire post you would have seen where the place was, I know I found it with no problem. Hell if you start from the beginning you could see where the first place we meet was.

Either March 9 or 10 are OK as far as the location we used in Jan. & Feb. is concerned. Just to be clear that location is: 201 NE 48th Street in OKC, 1 block west of Lincoln Blvd., the Adult and Continuing Education campus of Metro Technology Centers.
I will watch this thread for whatever the group decides.

The Pro-97 is now in the warehouse and should be arriving here very soon. If anyone needs it right away they can stop by and order, I should have one for this next meeting.

I would guess that it will be at 7:30 PM, as that's the time the last meeting was, but the date is still up in the air. Either the 9th or the 10th.
Now, this has been suggested previously, but I'm going to throw it out again. We've got a great board on Yahoo, oddly enough called Scan-OKC. :lol: It is very underutilized. Might not it be a good idea to conduct "club" business there, and use the Oklahoma Forum for discussions of actual scanning, freqs, etc? My thought is that there are people reading this topic, not for the meeting discussion, but in case something relating to scanning in OKC should appear. We/they are not in a position to attend the meetings, but don't want to miss any scanning-related information.
Mind you, I'm not complaining, I'm just making a suggestion. If the Yahoo board isn't used, it may not be around much longer, and I'd hate to see it disappear. Here's the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Scan-OKC/

I agree that the Scan-OKC group on yahoo is underutilized. I wish more people would show an interest in it. I am a member of that group and monitor activity when there is some. I don't see it as a bad idea for the Scan OK club to migrate over that way for discussion of meetings. I'll start a new thread here labeled Scan Ok Club, and post meeting dates until we can fully migrate over to yahoo groups. If anyone needs assistance in signing up for yahoo, or subscribing to the Scan-OKC group, feel free to post here. I'm sure K5MAR, or myself would be more then happy to help! Thanks K5MAR, for the suggestion!
