OK when i use scanner cast there is a 45 second delay from when somthing comes over the scanner till i hear it over the site. is there away to take away the delay or at least lower the delay to 5 -10 second deley?

Feed providers have no control over delay, also known as lag. Lag is normal in feeds, and it is due to the time it takes to:

1. encode the scanner audio on the streaming PC
2. send it to the Broadcastify servers over the Internet
3. process the audio on the servers
4. send the audio back out from the servers to the clients over the Internet
5. decode it and play it on the client

There are also lags with the network hops from the streaming PC to the servers and then from the servers to the playback client.

About the only thing you can do is reduce the buffer size in your playback client, which may help a little.

My feeds generally have a 35- to 45-second lag to them, sometimes a little less or a little more.
