Fresno Police officer shoots and kills 17 year old student at Roosevelt High School after being attacked and hit in the head with a baseball bat during school hours. The officer was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital. It appears his service weapon malfunctioned and the clip fell out so he used his backup to shoot the kid.

By what I understand and have heard was that it was unprovoked, that the officer didnt even know the student or had previous contact with him. And as far as what kind of firearm they carry I have no clue. Im glad that he was carrying a backup weapon or that could have got ugly.
