Recently, out of nowhere, my raspberry pi has stopped working with sdr++. I have checked with SDRTrunk as well, and it works perfectly fine. I have a pi 5 and an rtl -sdr V4.

Running rtl_test gives:

Found 1 device(s):
0: RTLSDRBlog, Blog V4, SN: 00000001

Using device 0: Generic RTL2832U OEM
Found Rafael Micro R828D tuner
Supported gain values (29): 0.0 0.9 1.4 2.7 3.7 7.7 8.7 12.5 14.4 15.7 16.6 19.7 20.7 22.9 25.4 28.0 29.7 32.8 33.8 36.4 37.2 38.6 40.2 42.1 43.4 43.9 44.5 48.0 49.6
[R82XX] PLL not locked!
Sampling at 2048000 S/s.

Info: This tool will continuously read from the device, and report if
samples get lost. If you observe no further output, everything is fine.

Reading samples in async mode...

and running rtl_test -t gives:

I'm sorry if this is a super straightforward awnser, I just wasnt able to find the solution. Another interesting thing is that whenever I first boot up or play (from pause) the program, it gives a strange curve in the signal on the waterfall graph that eventually settles.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any other sdr's connected to the rpi? E4000 would be like a nooelec smartee xtr or some others, definitely not a blogv4

Hi, my application is many times simpler than yours, but for what it's worth knowing, my SDR++ app stopped working with nooelec Nano2+ as well.. just weird.

Got sdr++ working again by deleting app cache and data then restart fresh. 🫔

I have fully deleted sdr++ and all data connected to it, and have done a fresh re-install, and for some reason it's still broken. I re-installed drivers and did common troubleshooting methods. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, really the only new information I have is that the waterfall graph on sdr++ gets stronger whenver I open another program, like chrome, and then goes away when I switch screens. This could be normal. I made a short video from startup to show exactly what happens, maybe there's something I'm missing?

@dudeagle I don't think we're taking about the same things here. My example is for the SDR++ Android app on Android device.
