Ah, interesting, I did not know that! Thanks so much for making the time to share the extra info. The recording features in Proscan are so superior to anything else for analog audio. Maybe it's time for me to switch gears and give the SD200 a try after all.

So, are you feeding audio to ProScan via an audio cable plugged into the radio?

Yes, on the back of many scanners / receivers there are two audio jacks, a speaker jack and a line out jack. The line out jack has a fixed and lower audio level typically used for recording as compared to the speaker output which is much louder and of course changes as the volume control is adjusted.
And thanks for the info about the URL audio. Guess I've been in the old school of doing things too long. ;)
