I've had good luck with that antenna. Mine has an SMA plug but it's sitting on the shelf because the center element of the plug broke off and I have't had a chance to fix it. It works surprisingly well.

I've seen some photos of folks using the RAM finger mount with a base of sorts. Curious what everyone is using to mount their SDS100 in their vehicle.

The weather tech cupholder with the extension works GREAT. tAKE A PICE OF PADDED VELCRO AN PLACE IT ON THE EDGES THAT WILL CONTACT THE SCANNER. tHIS DOES 2 THINGS IT PROTECTS THE SCANNER AND IT THICKNS THE SIDE SO THE SDS WILL FIT IN TIGHT , i ALSO ADDED A BEHHIND THE HEADREST SPEKER IN MY CAR SO i CAN PPLYA MUSIC AND STILL HEAR THE SCANNER THROUGH ROAD NOISE/TRAFFIC AND CAR RADIO, i WILL POST VIDEO ON HOE TO DO BOTH OF THESE TOMMORROW,

Before you buy the gooseneck, check your seat bolts. My Kia has shrouds over the bolts that prevent mounting anything except the seat. Want to know how I know? You guessed it.

so this actually connects to the bolt that also holds the seat down and connects to the SDS100 then? We have a Dodge Caravan EXT 2014 model.

I got a picture of a bolt on the passenger seat. Would this work with the gooseneck and the SDS100?
