Bingo! That’s what I was referring to: Server PortThe Source Client tab should look something like this. I don't have a Mount & Password but the server responded back.

ports 8000, 8080, and 8500 r alternate ports for httpWhere are you getting 8500 from? It should be 80 (8080 will work too).
{edit} Can you power cycle the router if you didn't already.
You don't have to use port 80The Source Client tab should look something like this. I don't have a Mount & Password but the server responded back.

U can use ports 80, 8000 ,8080, and 8500Where are you getting 8500 from? It should be 80 (8080 will work too).
{edit} Can you power cycle the router if you didn't already.
443 port is a email port but that should work alsoDid you change the port from 80 to 808? I would try 443 first and if that fails, use 80.
443 is https which doesn't apply. Use port 80.443 port is a email port but that should work also
But best to use HTTP or https ports
192.168.1.1 is the router address and 8.8.8.8 is a google DNS serverTwo other things to try.
Flush the DNS cache. ipconfig /flushdns
Also manually change your PC's DNS from 192.168.1.1 to 8.8.8.8. That will eliminate an issue with the DNS table in the router causing an issue, if it is..
did all that443 is https which doesn't apply. Use port 80.
Are you still seeing "No such host is known"?
Did you power cycle thescannerrouter? If that doesn't work then try
ipconfig /renew
Did you change the port to 80? Are you still getting unknown host?did all that
even done a winsock reset
did the ipconfig release than renew
Just switched to port 80Did you change the port to 80? Are you still getting unknown host?
The request above is to change the DNS properties of your NIC to use 8.8.8.8. No changes to anything else would be required.
If that doesn't work then enter in 174.127.114.11 for a test in lieu of audio1.broadcastify.comJust switched to port 80
And switched dns on NIC to 8.8.8.8 and the alternate to 8.8.4.4
I will reply with the finding on those changes
ok well that seemed to work , I changed the dns on the PC, I would have never thought of that, after all the things I changed and put back to originalJust switched to port 80
And switched dns on NIC to 8.8.8.8 and the alternate to 8.8.4.4
I will reply with the finding on those changes
Yes he is eliminating DNS. However we did that already by changing your DNS to Google’s.talked to a IT specialist today and he said it sounds like a host issue, i told him I changed from the host name (audio1.broadcastify.com) to 174.127.114.11 that is the physical. Ip address , he said when u use a URL it has to do more work than if u use just an ip address
now let's see if this work
Does this sound right to anyone
OK is that what i changed on the NIC card, and i also am using a different DNS on my router alsoYes he is eliminating DNS. However we did that already by changing your DNS to Google’s.
I’m thinking something on your Internet circuit or your PC (most likely) is wonky.
