Yes, for $50 Proscan is an awesome choice.
It's so awesome I bought it twice.Yes, for $50 Proscan is an awesome choice.
Ordered it (Proscan) the day the SDS arrived in the mail, best money I ever spent on radio software.Excellent, thanks. ProScan is "must-have" software for SDS200 owners in my view. Without it I don't think one is getting the most out of their investment. I've got four seats on my license now and it may be growing again soon as I continue to play.

Can't beat it for the price and the ability to use it for models all the way back to the 780xlt. I have been using since 2008 I believe excellent customer service and support.Ordered it (Proscan) the day the SDS arrived in the mail, best money I ever spent on radio software.
Do you use ProScan to edit your favorites or just use the features available when connected to the LAN?

EXACTLY, and by someone here active on the forum, that right there was a key factor for me.And unlike FreeScan it is still supported.

And Bob does a great job!EXACTLY, and by someone here active on the forum, that right there was a key factor for me.
Just started getting up to speed on ProScan but do not like the way that Sentinel does most of it's stuff (especially not updating your favorite lists) so plan on using ProScan for everything other than firmware updates.
Yeah, the manual has plenty of information on everything but its management of the scanner favorite lists...

I've been kind of slack on the manual. Updating the manual takes the most time. It's either an updated manual or several versions behind with several features missing. I try to make the program as self explanatory as possible.
BTW the next version has an exciting new feature and is ready for release however updating the manual for the new feature is going to delayed the release about 10 days.
I posted the below in another thread about if you could use Proscan on a tablet..... did a short clip for him..... it works fantastic on a Win 10 tablet, the audio is crystal clear, I wish I could say the same about the audio direct from the SDS200... Proscan rocks!!!!!! I may have to hide the buzzy detector in another room and just use LAN it's so quiet.

So forgive the dizzy inducing movement of the camera and the nosedive you take when I had to put the camera down to detach it from the dock, I was using my iPhone one handed.... Here's a quick clip of what Proscan looks like running on a Win 10 tablet via a Vonet wi-fi bridge on the scanner. The audio on the tablet is crystal clear, in fact the scanner audio is turned all the way down but you can still here masive buzz in the background, ON TOP of the dispatch audio. Like I always said, the firmware update only shuts off the audio between transmissions, it does nothing to the audio on calls, you still have the buzz once transmission starts. I then turn down the tablet volume and hold the camera near the EXTERNAL speaker (I'm so tired of people saying the buzz is only on the internal speaker).
Note, this is a large file, start it up then hit pause so it can start coming down or you'll have no audio.

People continue posting reviews saying the buzz issue was fixed with the metal chunk hack and firmware, I disagree.
