@Septa3371CSX1 Joe I know you're not here often but given what Rich divulged in post #17, any idea why a new conventional UHF channel would be needed for this new operation as opposed to remaining on the TRS?I'm not sure I understand who this "Metro" channel would even be for.
I can tell you first hand the dmr is not septa. The human voice is. But I would love to know where that dmr is comming from. ThanksHearing repeated automated voice radio testing "Test 1...Test 1...Test 1..." over and over again from 453.800 TGID 16777215, Slot-2, CC14 with RAS. Any future plans for Septa migrating over to DMR?
And yet the phantom P25 data bursts continue from the remaining frequencies on the license, NAC293 with no voice traffic ever logged

Septa is not using dmrWe'll just have to see if it goes into service, once they are done radio testing.
...yet. There are no other non-Septa possibilities on 453.800 remotely close to where I was when I posted the thread. The research for future usage has already been done on this thread & your response is going on 5 months too lateSepta is not using dmr
You don’t get DMR from GTR 8000’s…Yes, theyre not using DMR now. They're gonna be in the coming future.

Sounds like that video from the 234 explains what it is - a new channel for the NHSL to use for stop and proceeds to free up the MOW channel.@Septa3371CSX1 Joe I know you're not here often but given what Rich divulged in post #17, any idea why a new conventional UHF channel would be needed for this new operation as opposed to remaining on the TRS?
Nope, nothing online yetI believe the new 700 mhz system is up so if anyone with tracking software can see if anything pops up.
