Heard this morning on Clarksburg tower. Two guys doing traffic control on I-79 Near Jerry dove dr.
Does anyone know who this is. I didn't see it in the database.
My records show TG 182 as Harrison County - Bridgeport Common. I will add it to the database.

Very interesting that they will be using the MD 1St system as a hub. That could end up being very helpful in coverage issues in the northern section of WVA and western region of MD.

The way I read that doesn't imply that SIRN users will be roaming onto MD FIRST, but used for a link between EOCs. FEMA being in PA will probably point an antenna toward MD, and likewise something on the WV side will point toward MD to allow a path from Mt. Weather to the SIRN system and ultimately the WV EOC.

Mt Weather in Virginia is part of the FEMA JNCR network in Loudon County could connect with Kearneysville site/1 23(17) with no trouble at all since it is very close to the VA/WVA boarder but I would like to see some kind of patch set up between the 1st and Sirn where each others radios could affiliate on each others systems since so many mutual aid calls are run between the md and wva.

I confused Mount Weather with Raven Rock Mountain. But the idea may be the same. I don't see the type of connection you are referring to happening. We have it locally between the PA STARNet system and a regional system called ICORRS but an ISSI between states I don't think has happened yet anywhere and doesn't seem likely.

I noticed this line in the January 2024 minutes. Would anyone happen to know which TGID's these are?

• Reutilize the old trunk trailer talkgroups and set them as OP 1-8 to work on the current mobile site and reserve OP 9-16 if another mobile site ever came to exist.

Late to the party, but was there a special event going on in during that time frame?
