Sorry for the lack of info I was out only with the scanner and had a short time to find this. Site 2-028 I got in Beckley today very weak at home I show Ghent, Kopperston both showing this site as neighbor. I only label it based on notes I have for this site location. So if anyone is down in Wyoming County maybe they can run a log to get more information.

I might be re joining the ranks of the scanner listeners again after months of trying to get some people off their butts. It's been no fun just watching that yellow screen for new stuff to pop up and not know what's been going on. Sometime today will the day,my family will be happy,my boss will be happy,and finally I will be happy. My player in my truck will be cranked,man.

Identify??

Ok Listeners, I had a hit on a TG I have never seen. TG 8501 hit at 2:15pm today. I heard a few words but not enough to identify who it was. Did anybody else get this hit?

Just caught 9943 which is not in the database,two guys doing testing on how their radio sounds between Ansted and Mt Nebo Area(Fayette-Nicholas). I think one of they guys lives around here but not sure on that( caught the conversation late) and I think it is a new West Virginia DHHR Threat Preparation TG.

Also caught 3939 Webster County 911 which was a shock to me but glad my wildcard came through for both those talkgroups

Hey good job guys! I'm sure it had to do with our "mock" disaster we had this morning. Radio traffic was steady during that 1 1/2 hr period. Glad you got a hit on another new TG.

TG 8545 has been very active the last couple of days,with some talk about the Glen Jean Armoury(Yesterday) and this is the only talkgroup I've ever heard of people basically mumbling into the mic....Every other talkgroup I've heard has been clear as a bell,this one makes me want to concentrate to listen who the heck they are.

Bert when I hear it I'm hearing very short transmissions with mentionings of transport, comanche, and the reply of "Roger". With what you said about hearing the Armory mentioned makes me think it's another National Guard TG.

Chad,I am hopeful I will get some un mumbling converstations that will give me a better clue as to who it could be(the Glen Jean conversation was very clear),I expect this to be a very active TG in the future... And to those who are thinking of starting up new talkgroups,please do,as I am starved for new talkgroups,LOL.

I am off today and I listened to my scanner from 5:30 am til now,hearing all the charleston stuff and other stuff laying in bed,I love it when my scanner is very active on the SIRN,I do hate the quiet times too lol
