Can confirm that TG 8036 is another Chicago-Area TG for Norfolk Southern PD. It's been very active lately with calls being dispatched on it.

I've noticed that their dispatcher, "1000" (in St. Louis, according to the RR wiki) is VERY overmodulated.
Listened to this for a little while over the weekend and today. It appears they've abandoned the NXDN conventional frequency and using this full time?
Heard today on Troop-3 SE talk group after a trooper asked the Telecommunicator to order a tow at 95th & 76th Ave:
"I don't order tows on the Tollway...yet". A sign of changes coming soon perhaps? Troop 3 taking over Tollway dispatching in 2025?

Yes, I posted the previous link, however Oak Brook is still dispatching Troop 3 when they're on Tollway assignments. This was the Troop 3 (Desplaines) telecommunicator saying this on 3-SE talk group is why it was of interest.
Another new Troop 3 Telecommunicators RID today. RID 1904402 in use on 3-5B Detail talk group this morning.

Yes it is the primary dispatch channel I confirmed last week on another post. Heard them running a couple plates and being dispatched to calls along Ashland Ave.

The last activity that I had recorded is he went 10-41 on patrol S-17 (I-55 SW of I-355) shortly before his 2100 Hrs. start time. I didn't hear if he was assigned to "debris in the roadway" or just stopped and tried to remove it. There was a report of "a log in the roadway" event per the Troop 3 TC, so I suspect he was trying to move it out of the way. 3-50 pulled up and reported a civilian was doing CPR on a trooper. Very dramatic listening with an unfortunate outcome.

Offender charged with the Move Over Law violation. No mention of impairment or at least until labs come back.
Fox didn't say if the person that struck him stopped, it's just horrible to hear of this when you monitor these heroes every day,....
