ID Scan will "isolate" your listening to the talk groups you have programmed. The SEARCH mode is a great idea. In the metro St. Louis area I have to lock out about 16 Metro Transit TG's though or they will take over the statewide system

Would it be feasible logistics wise to get the keys on everyone's radios (since a lot of the motorcade crew is made up of various officers from different depts i assume) to encrypt motorcade stuff? You can hear a VIP (President, Vice President, Senator, etc) being escorted.
Listen to the escort, second by second, street by street. on Starcom.
However, local police feel the need to encrypt,
So you can NOT even listen to a simple local traffic stop.
"For officer safety"
I guess a local police officer safety, is more important than the safety of the President of the USA....
Funny how that works...
Many departments understand transparency.
While corrupt departments choose to encrypt and hide
And give their community members the middle finger.
Around 1145 hrs. today (I forgot yesterday was a holiday so everyone started today), on 3-A, "Emergency Button Radio Testing" class was in session. I was able to catch 13 of the 15 probationary troopers RID's and radio signatures in Troop 3: 3-523 through 3-537 all with RID's in the 10075xx/11075xx range. A couple of them have alluded me, but they won't escape me for long...LOL!
Cadet Class 148 will be arriving at the various Troops on Monday. Many new radio signatures and radio ID's to log!
Would be interesting if they alluded to you... they probably eluded youA couple of them have alluded me, but they won't escape me for long...LOL!
They always allude to me, but won't ever elude me because I always catch them.Would be interesting if they alluded to you... they probably eluded you
looking for the user of TG 35950 unit ID observed 10996506 can't find in database unless I overlooked it. Sounds like a LE tac channel
Seems to be a Task Force channel. Possibly USMS Great Lakes Regional Task Force?Looks like according to the wiki these have been documented starting with The 35950 and ending with 35962. Just no department is known yet
Definitely target surveillance by some 3 letter federal agency. I thought i heard them say "FBI clear" at the end of a transmission but unsure. Also its chicagolandSeems to be a Task Force channel. Possibly USMS Great Lakes Regional Task Force?
To add on to this TG35950 and TG35954 seem to be similar surveillance ops, 10998xxx RIDs on TG35954, similar RIDs also spotted talking in the clear (and possibly enc) on TG35955, 35956,35958, (I searched from 35940-35980) Any ideas? These TGs are in the wiki,Seems to be a Task Force channel. Possibly USMS Great Lakes Regional Task Force?

For you site, you can just look at the DB and observe the lowest and highest used by your site...unless I'm misunderstanding your questionDoes anyone happen to know the actual 700/800 MHz frequency range that is used on Starcom21? The lowest and highest 700 MHz frequencies and lowest and highest 800 MHz frequencies?
Thanks..., ya that's what I'll have to do. Appreciate it.For you site, you can just look at the DB and observe the lowest and highest used by your site...unless I'm misunderstanding your question
Do you have the NAC programmed for that site because I see that voice channel frequency is in use by site 2-25. I'm not familiar on the proximity of those areas, just a thought.Minor thing but might be of interest to some here, there's a new voice frequency in use with the Normal site 2-29, 853.975. For some reason neither of my scanners get a very good signal on that frequency and it's typically just digital noise as they try to decode, but it's there.

853.975 is covered by callsign WQCX408, which also includes 853.400 (Site 229 control channel) and 854.175 (not currently listed in the RR database for this site) in addition to the NPSPAC conventional 800 MHz calling and tac freqs.Minor thing but might be of interest to some here, there's a new voice frequency in use with the Normal site 2-29, 853.975.
