Well asking 5 times a week when is it gonna be here is not going to make it any faster.
As I told you about the TACN System 3 1/2 to 4 years to get it up and running for MOBILE COVERAGE. Now years latter they are filling in the blanks or adding sites for Cities or Counties.

Scannerboy is in a great big hurry for the system to get up and running even after we in the west have heard encryption.
I am going to guess the 1999 in his screen name reference to his birth year which adds up to impatience he shows in his online presence, love this new generation can't wait for the latest greatest, cry's about the fall out from the latest and greatest when it finally arrives!

I think they need to take their time and be sure they get it right, Even if there is a long delay.

Used to enjoy listening to KSP during the state fair, but their comms are encrypted.

Scannerboy, be careful for what you wish. You just might get it.

I know when LSP went on line with their system, they basically left it up to each Parish( what you call County) to decide. Some went with full encryption other went partial, leaving the Coordinate Call, Interop talk groups clear. The Interops are where LSP can communicate to other State and Local agencies, statewide.

All LSP Troops and the majority of their talk group Id's are clear, NOT ENCRYPTED.

Everything I’ve been told is KSP is pushing encryption due to CJIS concerns.

Has Cynthiana Fire Department go to a different radio system using the same frequency
Cynthiana Fire is still utilizing 154.11500 with a PL of 156.7

I don't know why everyone is assuming because they can't hear an agency, they have gone to the new state system, which isn't even functional in over half of the state yet.
